My experience at Oak Street is excellent I will recommend any of my friends to join in. I could not desire better. I cannot wait for the next visit.
  • Barbara
Everyone was friendly. Staff was scrupulous about contagion. There was little waiting time. I was promised referrals to the specialists I need and I hope those doctors are good. I was informed that my Medicare coverage could be improved. I got my flu shot (but only after I requested it). However, Dr. Wong (the only doctor at this location) didn't grasp what my problem is, confusing PMR with temporal arteritis and suggesting that I need more prednisone (a really bad idea). She wasn't aware that neither of those conditions causes fever. I expected more expertise. Some improvements in decor: there should be something on the walls in the examining rooms for patients to look at while waiting. The snacks provided were sugary (and nobody asked about my diet, which seemed odd: many of us don't eat right). Many of the notes on the wall lauding the practice were written by the same person -- all rave reviews. Not reassuring.
