Grand Rounds Friday, June 14, 2019

On behalf of the medical group, the Grand Rounds Committee, the Provider Services team, and the Oak Street leadership team, I am excited to announce that we will be hosting Grand Rounds on Friday, June 14th.

We will be hosting Dr. Adam Cifu, MD and Dr. Sarge Takhar, MD. Dr. Cifu is faculty of the University of Chicago. Dr. Cifu will be addressing the diagnosis and management of high calcium in primary care patients, understanding causes, how to identify it, and impacts on major organ systems. Dr. Cifu will also be addressing how to build meaningful relationships with patients, how practices mature over time, how long-term relationships are different from short-term, and the value of primary care relationships in community health. Dr. Takhar will be discussing the diagnosis and management of skin and soft tissue infections in primary care patients, understanding causes, how to identify it, and impacts on major organ systems.
