Specifics on this opportunity:
Oak Street Health has a historical focus on Medicare patients, and that focus continues in these retail-based centers, but care teams here also take care of patients with a range of insurance options, including Medicaid, commercial, and self-pay. In addition to the Oak Street Health Physician, our care teams in the retail setting will include an NP/PA, Medical Assistants, and other support roles. Care teams will see patients 18 months and older. This position is eligible for a signing bonus and relocation stipend where applicable.
Schedule:
These retail-based centers operate on extended hours, and the Physician will work Monday-Friday 8:00 am — 4:30 pm. On Monday-Thursday the Physician will be physically present at one site managing his/her own panel of patients. On Fridays the Physician will alternate each week between our other retail sites supporting our NPs/PAs.
What are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will be:
M.D. or D.O. graduates.
Board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required.
Fellowship training in Geriatrics is welcome but certainly not required.
Have an active, non-probationary state medical license.
Must be willing to formally collaborate with NPs/PAs as dictated by Texas State law, rules, and regulations.
US work authorization.
