Brush strokes

Brushstrokes are at the core of our visual identity. We have a unique style that we can use to create a variety of brushstrokes to suit our designs. We want them to feel unique and dynamic to avoid our visuals from getting repetitive or predictable. So whenever you can, you should create your own — although you can also source brushstrokes from stock.

Ensure your brushes retain a handmade quality and do not look too digitally rendered. A slightly rough, handmade quality gives them their character. The following pages give an overview and guidance on how to use brushes in communication materials.

On the web, brush strokes are used as textures in backgrounds of banner modules to add color, visual variety, and an elevated brand presence.
