About our Ratings and Reviews
Oak Street Health is committed to providing you the information you need to make informed decisions about your health care provider. As part of that commitment, we post our patient experience ratings online. To assist you, we’ve developed this guide.
About our survey
All ratings and reviews are submitted by actual patients through through review sites such as Google, Healthgrades, and others. All of our ratings and comments are aggregated through a technology company called Rio SEO, who enable the reviews and comments to be posted to oakstreethealth.com.
Do you post all comments?
Both positive and negative comments are posted, with these exceptions:
- Comments that include names or detailed descriptions of patients that jeopardize patient privacy/confidentiality, including date of birth, address, phone, email, SSN, account numbers, etc.
- Comments that include profanity/offensive language (anything that wouldn’t be allowed on primetime TV)
- Comments that include potential libelous/defamatory content or personal attacks
Which providers are included in the ratings?
Only Oak Street Health employed providers who have been set up to be surveyed are included in the ratings.
Why don’t we see patient ratings and comments for every provider?
You can expect the very best care and service from all our providers — but not all will have ratings or reviews displayed as they have yet to receive the minimum of five responses needed to calculate a score.
