Common questions
Do I need insurance to get care?
Yes. We accept Medicare and most Medicare Advantage plans.
If I’m seeing a specialist, how does that work with my Oak Street Health provider?
No worries. Whether you already have a specialist or need help finding one, we’ll work with them to coordinate all of your care.
I have quite a few medications, and sometimes it's hard to keep them straight. Can you help me with that?
Absolutely. Your care team will help you stay organized so you know what to take, when to take it, and how much to take.
Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?
Of course. Bringing someone with you can help you feel more relaxed during your visit. Plus, having them in the room gives you an extra set of ears to help follow what the doctor is saying and ask questions.
