Nobody asks to walk around in pain, nobody! But when I have to call every month for my refills which is the law , I get it…., I feel like a crack head. You ask for a refill and my doctor made me feel as if I was asking her to do something illegal like I was a dope fiend. If you are HURTING or a chronic pain patient? It is my personal opinion, belief and suggestion that you do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I personally believe that this was done out of spite because of a complaint that I made. I unfortunately decided to allow my pcp Jessica Birch to take over my pain management. I had to have ALL of my teeth removed I was only missing 4 teeth so it was major. You don’t know pain until you wake up from that. I call Jessica but was told to contact the dentist for the management of the procedure he did. I did that! When it was time for my refills she deliberately withheld my prescription due to me getting 2-3days of medication from another doctor…….. Ain’t that wtheck she told me to do? I had to sign another contract and this time it was almost 2 weeks before I got my refill. She gives me a prescription for 2 pills a day for 30-31 but gives me 56 pills!!!!!! How? Which literally means I have to go 2-7 days depending on when I get my refills in pain. I run out early because of her mathematical problems and today her nurse called me and said that she cut me off my medication completely! No warning no opportunity to find me another doctor nothing. I have fell down the stairs in my building at least 6-8 times in the past 2 1/2 months and I am tired of begging for help, tired of being made to feel like a crack head because I need help. I’m desperate but definitely tired of begging OAK STREET! Definitely looking forward to finding me a new doctor soon. But until then I am in Gods hands!
